Are my automatic virus protection, firewalls and automatic updates on?
1. Go to: Start/Control Panel/Security Center and be sure Automatic Updates is turned 'ON' 2. Also Check to see if the Automatic Firewall is turned 'ON' 3. Also Check to see if the Virus Protection is turned 'ON'
Speaking about additional security, in addition to AntiVirus software, you MUST also have AntiSpyware software. They are totally two different forms of intrusions that's handled by two different forms of software. You can't have one and NOT the other.
There are 5 options that are the best, some free, some at a cost. The free ones are just as good, if not better than the paid options. I use the free option and I do NOT have a probem at all with my work at home system! I couldn't afford NOT to get a free software to keep me earning an income!
